Minimum and Maximum Transaction Limit

There is no minimum and maximum limit as long as it is a genuine bank note and still legally valid according to the central bank who issued the currency. We do not accept coins.

Planning to Buy More Than USD 25,000?
If you are buying currencies with amount greater than USD 25,000 or equivalent in all Indonesian banks within one calendar month, Indonesian Central Bank requires you to submit a copy of your underlying transaction such as: invoices, etc. Reference: Indonesian Central Bank Regulation 17/13/PBI/2015.

List of Currency and Exchange Rate

We transact all major currencies. We posted some of the exchange rates on this website, on the right column. This exchange rate is accurate at the time listed at the bottom of the box, updated every hour.

For other currencies, their rates are available on our hotline during regular business hours. Your transaction exchange rate is the rate when you execute your transaction in our office. We will ensure that you will get the best possible exchange rate.

Currency Stock Availability

In general, most of our currencies are ready stock. In the event that we are running out of stock, we will try to make them available on next business day. We suggest you to come in the morning for a better chance to get your currencies fulfilled.

Requirements for Exchanging Currency

All transactions must be conducted in our office, in person, we do not have delivery service and we can not conduct any transaction online or by phone.
  • For individuals, you will need to bring your valid ID, such as Driver's License, Government-issued ID Card or Passport.
  • For corporations, you will need to bring a copy of your company's Indonesian Tax Identification Card (NPWP) and a copy of your company's Business License (SIUP).

Payment Method and Upfront Transfer

We accept cash and checks but would prefer an upfront transfer either online or through ATM. Please note that check payment will significantly delay your transaction until your check is cashed. We are sorry, credit and debit cards are not accepted.

Important information regarding bank transfer:
  • We have accounts in most banks (i.e. BCA, Mandiri, CIMB, etc.). Please call or email us to get our account number in the bank of your choice with the currency of your choice.
  • When transferring, you must include the following message "For transaction by [your name as printed in your ID]". Without this information, you will NOT be able to retrieve your fund.
  • When you came to our office, you will need to bring the proof of transfer and your identification (ID) card or Passport. If we find a match, you are eligible to use the fund as a method of payment.
  • You can estimate the fund to be transferred based on your transaction needs. While executing your transaction, you may choose to use the entire fund or some of the fund. The excess fund will be transferred back to your account.
  • IMPORTANT: You are NOT allowed to retrieve your fund in any way for any reason without transacting them. This rule is enforced by the Indonesian central bank to prevent money laundering.
  • If your representative is transacting on behalf of you, you need to follow the instruction about transaction on behalf of somebody.

Transacting On Behalf of Somebody Else

Generally this process is highly discouraged. But if you must, you have to follow the following instruction:
  • Your representative will need to bring a copy of your ID
  • Your representative will need to bring his / her original ID
  • Your representative will need to bring a statement that you prepared and signed, stating that you fully authorized he / she to transact a sum amount of money on behalf of you. Please specify as detail as possible. You also need to specify the full name and ID number for both you and your representative.
  • You will be responsible for anything related to the transaction and the fund
  • If transfer the payment fund upfront, you must specify the following information on the transfer message: "Transaction by [your representative's name as printed in his / her ID] [his / her ID type and number] for [your name as printed in your ID]". More info on method of payment.

Currencies in Poor Condition and Deduction

We generally accept all identifiable legal bank notes in any condition. There may be a small deduction on the exchange rate for currencies in not a good condition. Please bring your currencies to our office, our staff will be more than happy to assist you.

Requirements for Currency Remittance

We have service for domestic and international remittance to any major country. For international remittance, we support the recipient's currency and US Dollar (USD). Remittance fee is IDR 140,000 flat-rate. Delivery time for domestic transfer is 1 (one) business day, while international transfer may take up to 2 (two) business days, provided that the transaction is executed before noon.

You will need to bring the following documents:
  • Recipient's name on the account
  • Recipient's account number
  • Recipient's bank name
  • Recipient's bank full address where the account was opened
  • Recipient's bank routing number and/or SWIFT code
  • For individuals, you will need to bring your valid ID, such as Driver's License, Government-issued ID Card or Passport
  • For corporations, you will need to bring a copy of your company's Indonesian Tax Identification Card (NPWP) and a copy of your underlying transaction / invoice

For remittance to People's Republic of China (PRC), you will need these additional documents:
  • Recipient's bank's branch name and city where the account was opened in Chinese character (支行 / 分行)
  • If applicable, a copy of the first page of recipient's savings book, so we can confirm the name on this account in very detail. Chinese bank won't tolerate even one extra space mistake.
  • If applicable, a copy of recipient's savings card with full card numbers in it

It is your responsibility to ensure the correctness of the remittance information. Failure to provide the correct information may cause a delay in remittance and you may be changed for a rejection fee by the bank.
